At CareHomeLife we’re committed to supporting care homes, care workers and their residents as best as we possibly can throughout this crisis. We understand how increasingly difficult it is to work in a care home right now and with the spread of coronavirus, ensuring that we dig deeper to support our valued care workers on the frontline, as they dig deeper to support those in their care, has never been more important.
So we’ve began a positive campaign to lift the spirits of as many of our valued care workers as we can, by providing them with a thoughtful free lunch.
This week we’ve sent out almost 1,100 mood-lifting lunch boxes to care homes across England and Wales. And we plan to do the same for the coming weeks too! Next week we’re planning to send out over 1,600 lunch boxes.
Overall we’re planning to spread cheer to over 9,000 dedicated individuals!
And we’ve already brought smiles to the faces of many dedicated social care workers as you can see by the following photos and feedback:
“You don’t know how much it helps staff when receiving gifts. Its as if you have put an arm around them and a big hug and a thank you. So thank you so much again for your kindness, thoughtfulness for all of our team xx” Tracey, Penybryn
